QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
When was the engine rebuilt and by whom? When was the sparrow conversion done? This was both done at the same time, in November 2003.
According to my logbook entries the A & P was 2178108 IA. You can see all the details in the Logs PDF on the website.
3. Does it come with upgrade oil cooler, engine/cylinder temp monitor and tach normally associated with the conversion? The plane has no CHT gauge. The logbook entry doesn't say anything about an upgraded oil cooler.
The Website of the guy that sells the STC Conversion Kit doesn't mention these changes.
4. Do you have complete logs---frame, engine, prop
Yes, I have the complete logs going back to D.O.M.
So far, they're only online from 1994 until now. If you would like to get them until D.O.M please let me know,
I'll upload them on the website as well. Glass still nice and clear?
The glass is still very clear, there are some light scratches on the upper side of the front window that I will remove
with Acryl Scratch remover.
6. All ads complied and current? I added the AD Record on the Log file - as far as I can see everything is current and up to date.
Another guy just send me an e-mail concerning the aircraft and he was asking about the Trim and the Fin Spars -
I will check into those and ask an A & P how much time they have left on them.
7. Any damage history?
There is no damage history, there are some dents on the leading edge due to ppl pushing and the toe bar link is broken.
I never used it, it would probably make sense to fix it if the plane is going to be hangared in a tight hangar.
